In the heart of the picturesque countryside, amidst the rustic charm of Drovers Rest in Hay on Wye, Louise and Jamie embarked on a remarkable journey as they said "I do" surrounded by their loved ones. Their wedding day was filled with vibrant colors, bohemian vibes, and an abundance of joy, perfectly reflecting their free-spirited personalities and their desire for a fun-filled celebration.

Louise and Jamie's wedding was a carefully curated affair, with each detail thoughtfully chosen to create an atmosphere of enchantment and whimsy. The venue, Drovers Rest, with its woodland setting and versatile spaces, provided the perfect backdrop for their day of love and merriment.

Fran from Ladidardy Flowers designed breathtaking floral arrangements, infusing the celebration with bursts of vibrant colors and natural beauty. Jenny from Hair Comes the Bride styled Louise's locks with care, creating a bohemian-inspired look that perfectly complemented her Eliza Jane Howell wedding dress from Blush Bridal. Jamie, looking dapper, opted for a vintage suit from Vintage Suit Hire.

Samantha Price, a skilled makeup artist, ensured Louise radiated confidence and grace throughout the day. The jewelry held sentimental value, with Louise wearing her mother's headpiece from her own wedding and earrings from Anthropologie. Bridesmaids were adorned with necklaces handmade by Louise's mother-in-law, Sandy.

The wedding stationery, designed by bridesmaid Becci and printed by Print. Work, beautifully captured the couple's unique style and set the tone for the festivities. As guests arrived, they were greeted by a whimsical atmosphere, complete with flowers, candles, and fire pits, perfectly encapsulating the boho and festival vibes that Louise and Jamie envisioned.

The day kicked off with the excitement of preparations, with Louise and Jamie surrounded by their closest friends and family. The groom and his groomsmen indulged in heartfelt gifts and shared cigars, while Louise's loyal companion, Dog Indie, donning a bandana lovingly made by her mum, added an adorable touch to the groom's preparations. Meanwhile, the bridal party revelled in the anticipation, capturing precious moments through photographs and embracing the magical atmosphere.

As the sun reached its zenith, Louise gracefully donned her wedding dress with the help of her mum, capturing the magical moment of jumping into the gown.

The ceremony, held in the woods at Drovers Rest, was a true testament to Louise and Jamie's love. Accompanied by the melodious tunes of harpist Ruth Cartledge, Louise made a grand entrance in a land rover, escorted by her father. Surrounded by the serene beauty of nature, they exchanged their own heartfelt vows, a testament to the depth of their commitment and the promises they held dear in their hearts.

Readings added a personal touch to the ceremony, filling the air with love and inspiration. The moment they sealed their love with a kiss, confetti rained down the aisle.

As the day progressed, the celebration continued in the rustic barn. A call to sit-down marked the transition to the wedding breakfast, where heartfelt speeches by the Father of the Bride, Jamie, and the Best Man added laughter and emotional moments to the evening. Each course was savoured, creating a feast for the senses that delighted the guests.

The evening continued with the cutting of the cake and the highly anticipated first dance. The lively sounds of the 8-piece band, Soul Fresh, echoed through the rustic barn, coaxing guests onto the dance floor to revel in the joyous celebration. A photo booth in a horse box added an element of fun and entertainment, immortalising the night in a series of playful snapshots.

Finally, as the sky transformed into a canvas of breathtaking colours, marking a picturesque sunset, the perfect culmination of Louise and Jamie's extraordinary day. Surrounded by the love and support of their friends and family, they basked in the glow of their union, grateful for the memories created and the journey ahead.

The wedding at Drovers Rest was a true reflection of Louise and Jamie's vibrant spirits and their desire for a unique and unforgettable celebration. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments—a day that will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
